The 15th Specialized Exhibition of Tourism, Handicrafts, Hospitality, and Health Tourism was held in Isfahan in December 2026. This event brought together key stakeholders from the tourism and healthcare sectors and highlighted Isfahan’s growing role in health tourism. Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, along with representatives from various medical and healthcare centers across the province, participated actively and effectively in the exhibition.

Imam Musa Kazem (AS) Educational and Medical Center in Isfahan successfully treated a 5-year-old Iraqi child who suffered from deep third-degree burns. The patient was admitted to the center and received specialized medical care for 70 days. Throughout the hospitalization period, the child was treated under continuous supervision by a multidisciplinary medical team, benefiting from advanced burn care facilities, intensive monitoring, and specialized surgical and supportive treatments.

Imam Musa Kazem (AS) Educational and Medical Center in Isfahan achieved a remarkable medical success by saving the life of a 17-year-old patient who suffered 95% third- and fourth-degree burns following a severe workplace accident. The patient was admitted on May 12, 2025, and after three months of intensive treatment, is now ready for discharge. During hospitalization, the patient underwent ten surgical procedures and one session of dialysis, supported by continuous ICU care, advanced medical facilities, and the dedicated efforts of a highly specialized multidisciplinary medical team.

Imam Musa Kazem (AS) Educational and Medical Center participated in the 18th Tehran International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition, held from February 12 to 15, at the booth of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The exhibition featured a dedicated section for health tourism with the participation of medical universities from across Iran. The center’s participation aimed to introduce its medical capabilities and specialized services to international patients and medical tourists.
