Scar and burn ward was opened in 1991 on the first floor of the hospital in order to provide services to patients with infectious scars. Based on the current equipment, elective patients (burn patients without need for intensive care) are hospitalized in this ward. These patients are examined daily by infectious diseases, internal medicine, and pediatrics, psychology, and Ophthalmology services, depending on their case and by anesthesiologist, if necessary. The visitation in this ward is in person, on visitation days and under special conditions and limited duration.
